Orin joined the fire department as a volunteer in November of 1979. He was hired as a career firefighter November 1st of 1981, and became a certified paramedic in 1984. Orin was promoted to Shift Lieutenant in 1994 and was promoted to Deputy Chief on June 20^th 2005. Orin’s certifications include fire officer II, vertical rescue II, ACLS instructor, CPR instructor, and rescue diver. He is a member of the department's water rescue team and vertical rescue team. He enjoys working with computers and is the system administer of computer systems for both the fire department and the City Of Byron. Orin is a life-long resident of Byron and married his wife Diana in 1985. They have two children,  Audra and Jimmy. .
