On June 10th at 3:31 pm the Byron Fire Department responded to a report of a three vehicle accident with injuries, upon arrival of the first unit it was a two vehicle accident involving a flatbed two truck with a car on the flatbed and a mid sized car. The driver of the tow truck and his passenger were pronounced dead on the scene and the driver of the car was flown by helicopter to a Rockford hospital in serious condition.
